+Our antique Victorian ring dates back to 1871 during a period named 'The Grand Period'. The Victorian era was broken up into a number of period this one being from 1860-1885.
This beautiful 9ct gold ring is incredibly ornate in design, the ring features a central red garnet with four green garnets and seed pearls surrounding the central stone. The band of the ring features floral flourishes with fine engraving around the whole band.
Seed pearls in the Victorian era were associated with a number of symbols such as innocence, purity, humility and harmony.
The ring has a number of marks indicating the piece was made by WGM in Birmingham, England in 1871. The makers were Walter & George Myers of Northampton Street, Birmingham.
